Railroad employee pass for family: Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. 1961-1962-1963; Fifty Years Service; issued to Mrs. Harold Curtis, Wife of Clerk - Retired. No. P 2230.
Apparently Curtis worked for one of the predecessor railroads (the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western or the Erie - they merged in Oct. 1960) for a half century. The pass for his wife would have been typical of the railroad's consideration of long-time employees as well as retired ones.
May be considered as type of transportation ticket.
Curtis, Mrs. Harold
