Scope & Content Walking Tour in Hoboken. Drawings by Yvon Masse. 2009.

Set of fifty pen-and-ink drawings of Hoboken buildings and scenes by Yvon Masse done by the artist in 2009. (see notes for his curriculum vitae along with a letter plus his notes about the work and process; also see below for addtional information that will be found in notes.)

All leaves are Somerset paper, circa 8-5/8" x 11-1/8" high (variations in size are minor), deckled or torn all edges. Printed title leaf in black, green and sepia with fifty individual plates of drawings done in brown or black or orange ink. Signed and dated in image by artist with exceptions noted below.

Accompanied by artist's publication of title and all drawings same size (note cropping for format below) in a wire-o style binding; oblong, 8-1/2" high x 11" wide; all plates are imprinted with a number. Clear plastic front cover; burgundy vinyl back cover.

The original drawings are hand-titled on the plate; not all drawings are signed by the artist or are dated. Originals are all in a vertical format and titled by hand on the leaf; the published version is horizontal thus cropping out the original lettering, but with new calligraphic lettering in black for title and with typeset page / plate number at lower right. Note printed title is in the same format in both versions.

The listed order below is numbered as found in the book. Titled as found on the original drawings is listed first with title in the book in parentheses followed by date of drawing. (List is also found in notes with added information or commentary by cataloguer in brackets.)
