Piers 3 and 4 in Hoboken served as the American home port for the United States Lines. Main office was in New York City. Passenger ships arrived and departed from here to and from Europe.

Page 5 has section: How to Reach Our Piers from New York. The directions are for travel to Hoboken by using ferry service to " Lackawanna Station, Hoboken, N.J. " or by " Hudson Tubes " (the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad.)
