Profusely illustrated with diagrams, tables and charts. Apparently this was only Chapter III as content pages show; it goes directly pg 7, Chapter III contents, to page 8 with instructional text.
Reference to a July 1942 Navy specs helps to establish the early date. This shipyard did extensive work for the Navy in World War II and training workers for military needs was essential.
