Printed certificate 8-1/2" x 11" wide engrossed with students name, school and instructor (Sister Beatrice); folded vertically and held in brown paper presentation folder with silver cord with tassel.
Roland was commonly known as Peter Roland. The American Penman was a monthly magazine about penmanship. Established in 1884 under a different title, it was published until 1938. It promoted the Palmer method of script.
