Mileage Voucher submission with military separation documents for George R. Maier, 833 Bloomfield St., Hoboken, July 29, 1947. Four documents, various dates; printed or mimeographed forms with typewritten (carbon) or holographic entries and signatures, 8" wide x varying lengths, longest is 13". With: envelope.
Maier was a Lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserves and based at the Naval Air Station, Memphis, Tennessee. The first three documents were 'original' copies necessary as supporting papers for the Mileage Voucher (document 4) which shows he left Memphis on June 1 and arrived in Hoboken, June 9th ("paid to Jersey City nearest RR stop, Via Philadelphia, PA.")
The documents relate to his demobilization and separation from military service. The earliest is dated April 16, 1947.
