This was one of several routes operated by them. Promotion of the running times and a schedule was important to help raise ridership and revenue as the railroad was in financial distress from World War II onward. (Note: Hudson Terminal was the site of the later World Trade Center and the H&M became PATH in 1962.)
Date determined from advertisement featuring (and depicting) a Westinghouse television, 21" Table Model 867, which was available in 1954.
