Notes Miss Florence Miller,
716 Bloomfield Street,
Hoboken, New Jersey.

My dear Miss Miller:

Knowing the very fine stand you took on the night of October 22nd, 1919., in the cause of right and justice at the annual meeting of the American Red Cross for the election of the executive Officers, I wish to thank you very sincerely.

I deeply regret the occasion should have arisen, but in as much as it did arise, I am proud to know that my friends had the courage of their convictions and stood by me so nobly.

These memories and friends, I hope always to cherish as a compensation for whatever has been unpleasant in doing the great and noble work of the American Red Cross.

Yours very sincerely,
HOBOKEN CHAPTER
AMERICAN RED CROSS
