[Tootsie Rolls]: 109 Pike's Peak, Coney Island. Color printed postcard, divided back, 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" wide; postmarked Brooklyn, N.Y., May 20, 1911.
An interesting item incorporating two icons of American culture, Coney Island and Tootsie Rolls. A [Chocolate] Tootsie Rolls sign (Tootsie Rolls were made later in Hoboken from the 1930s up to 1965) is on the left at "Johnson's Pavillion." View depicts a famous ride at Coney Island and an entrance for "Dreamland " is seen among the many signs.
