Program, Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of Keuffel & Esser Co., Tuesday, July 19, 1892. Single folio, 5-7/8" wide x 8-3/4" high, pp. Printed in red ink, text in English and German. Condition is very poor. Reference prints on file.
While stated as a program, it was apparently issued prior ("will be celebrated") to the event as a notice or prospectus for employees to apply for tickets by July 18. There was probably an actual program or keepsake for the celebration that listed the principals, dignitaries, speakers, etc.
The event was held at Berg's Oriental Park, Ogden Avenue, Jersey City Heights. K&E had offices and facilities in New York, but its factory was in Hoboken. The date was the official date that the company was founded and as a weekday, it was made a company holiday for this anniversary.
Cover is titled twice, English language at the top and the same format and text in German on the lower half. Page has the program in English with it repeated in German on page . Page is a list of the committees and members. Full text is in notes.
