Sinatra is shown at a CBS radio microphone on the cover which is the only reference to him in the publication. A large 'V' appears on the cover which is a patriotic notice for the World War II homefront.

Previous owner dated the cover August 9th, 1943 (which is presumed to be the date of purchase) plus:
Hunter Field, Savannah, Georgia. (This would have been Hunter Army Airfield.)
There are a number of ink drawings (by a trained hand) and notations throughout the publication over text or music. As the cover border states "Radio Hit Songs - Words and Music" (see images of pp. 30-31, Index.) "Legally Authorized."
