Book with cloth backstrip and printed pressboards covers, 3-5/8" wide x 6" high. 73 pp. Worn as would be expected from daily use. Four enclosures.
Enclosure 1, two copies: Lackwanna Railroad. Special Supplement to Conductor's Tarriff No. 9. Issued May 1, 1956. 4 pp., blue paper. Regarding fare increases to New York City.
Enclosure 2: Lackwanna Railroad. Special Supplement to Conductor's Tarriff No. 9 Publishing Four-Day Exc[ursion]. Fares to Destinations West of Dover. Issued June 12, 1950. 4 pp, cream paper.
Enclosure 3: two typewritten 3" x 5" index cards with fares and tax from Hoboken to various stations.
Enclosure 4: typewritten 3" x 5" index card with fares and tax from Newark to various stations.
This copy is not so marked, but it may have belonged to a Fred Harrison. A copy of his Railroad Y.M.C.A. (serving "Lackawanna Employees" since 1889) 1957 membership card was accompanied this item as received (it is catalogued as 2008.012.0107.)
