The envelope has a faint yellow printing of a artist's bird's-eye view of the Hoboken factory titled above "Home of Davis Baking Powder." This front side of the envelope has the list mentioned above. Back of the envelope has the company name, location, elaborate depiction of a red and gold labeled can plus the advertising slogan "It's Positively Pure." The envelope is not addressed or posted, but it would have been used for such purpose as when the set was requested.
This is not all of the cards issued in this series and the full number in a complete set has not been established. (See archives 2012.001.0139 for another card.) Date determined from text on card 7 referring to Davis establishing the business "41 years ago" which would have been 1879 and thus dating their issue as early as 1920. But the varying colors and the differing type placement on the back could mean they were issued over a longer period with issue being later than 1920.
