Sample ticket: Erie-Lackawanna Railroad Company, 46 Trip School Ticket. Good for 46 trips between stations shown above. Form L46. Specimen or sample; unissued. No date, circa late 1960-1964 (probably file sample circa mid-1960s.)
Printed orange card stock, 2-1/2" high x 6" wide. Two punches; reverse blank.
Two piece ticket. Not for a specific date period such as month, but for a total number of trips.
While not stamped as a sample, it is consistent with other ticket samples so marked in the collection, unused and with a punch or punches not in areas indicated for such use.
Use of the name Erie-Lackawanna Railroad Co. with a hypen was used from October 1960 to circa 1964 when they eliminated the hyphen.
