Newspaper clipping from unidentified newspaper about Walter Thomas Vance's death in the Admiral Benson Club fire. No date, ca. December, 1919.
Vance was 26 years old and the night secretary at the club which was at 814 Washington St., Hoboken. The fire also damaged the First Dutch Reformed Church which adjoined the rear of the club.
The service club was operated by the the National Catholic War Activities.
