|Scope & Content||
Postcard: [Stevens Hall.] Stevens Institute of Technology, (Hoboken, N.J.), no date, circa 1980-1990.
Printed decal / sticker postcard, 3-5/8" high x 6-1/8" wide. Printed on front: #108.
Front has peel-off white self-adhesive paper label, 3-1/16" high x 5-1/2" wide, being a black-and-white illustration (hand drawn or using some photomechnical technique) of the exterior of the Edwin A. Stevens or "A" building at Fifth and Hudson Streets. View is northwest. Note that the tower is truncated. An addition was made to the tower to complete the architect's design in the late 1980s.
Reverse is a divided postal back with a price sticker (49 cents), presumably from the school bookstore. The number on the front would indicate that this was part of series of postcards done in this illustration style and format as a sticker / decal. See archives 2008.071.0023 for another, #107, from this series.
