Typed letter signed from Edward Arnold, Comptroller, National Catholic War Council to John Ryan, Hoboken, Dec. 24, 1919, re monies related to Admiral Benson Service Club.
Ryan, Newark and Jackson Streets, was Treasurer of the Club.
Arnold is sending another $500 to help wrap up the club's accounts and wants him to finalize all records and then forward them to him.
The letter discusses the separate emergency fund that Mrs. [Mary P.] Markey has on account of the fire [that destroyed the club on Dec. 10]. Asks him to assist her in keeping accurate accounts.
