Sample ticket, five: Erie-Lackawanna Railroad Company, Monthly Commutation Ticket; Good for unlimited number of rides between various New Jersey stations and Hoboken. Form MC. Unissued. No date, circa August 1965. Printed blue card stock, 2-7/16" high x 4" wide (except example 2, Murray Hill, 4-1/4" wide.)
Unused; three of the five have one conductor's punch in area that does not indicate use. Those same three have an inkstamp on the reverse: Sample Aug 10 1965 Rand McNally & Co. The two that do not have a punch or inkstamp are presumed to also be file samples.
