School scrapbook belonging to a Jean Anna [no last name] of Hoboken, June 1929. Album with brown cloth boards; circa 75 leaves 7" high x 11" wide; ribbon cord binding.
A commercial album (also could be categorized as an autograph book or diary) published by W.C. Horn & Co., Newark, N.J. and titled "My School Day Memory Book" with printed leaves for title, presentation, and 31 topics with blanks leaves following printed leaves. As credited on publisher's leaf: Arranged by Elizabeth M. Owen. Designed and Illustrated by Berenice Hunt.
Given as a gift to Jean Anna by her Aunt Kitty and Uncle Lyn in June 1929. Most pages were unused by the owner. It would appear that she was graduating from David E. Rue Junior High School apparently on June 26, 1929.
The second leaf has an inscribed poem by friend, Leona M. Ker, that is marked Demarest High School, June 27, 1933.
