Digital photo documentation images of Hoboken Historical Museum, Fall 2003, exhibition: Frank Hanavan: Painting the Town. Photographs of the 57 paintings taken by Peter Ziebel, December, 2003. Includes low-resolution (96 ppi) JPEG format images and high-resolution (240 ppi) TIFF format images on 3 compact disks. All paintings were framed. Frames are cropped from these images. Images here are not the same size as the originals. Refer to catalogued images for dimensions. Compact disk with 58 digital photos taken by Karl Trappe at the members preview, Hoboken Historical Museum, 1301 Hudson Street, Hoboken, for exhibition, "Frank Hanavan: Painting the Town," Sunday, Sept. 14, 2003. Original disk plus a use copy. See photo catalog 2003.065.0001 for images. -Original disk has images at 72dpi in jpeg format. -Copy has images at 300 dpi in jpeg format. Also a seven pages of laser-printed contact sheets were produced with 6 B+W images per page. They are stored with the disks. The images have not been individually catalogued. People were not identified.

Additionally marked in pencil by the artist on the reverse of the canvas: Hanavan | 16" x 24" acrylic | Pier A Park [underlined] | 7-9-07. The title as catalogued is the one used in a late 2007 upper gallery exhibit at the Hoboken Historical Museum of the work. View is northeast of a food kiosk with a hot dog cart near it. The building is located approximately one quarter of the length of the park from the river end.

Location was once Kusselek's Shoe Store.
