George Washington on July 8, 1919 as he returned from peace talks in Europe. There was motorcade on Washington Street, Hoboken, with the President (and General John J. Pershing) circa July 8th

Framed collection of 70 tickets, 1914-1920, to dances & related social events from Hoboken & Hudson County clubs, societies & organizations. - Ticket

Framed collection of seventy 1914-1920 dance and social event tickets from Hoboken and Hudson County collected by Joseph Bucino. A few events were held in New York City. Dark wood frame with glass, 24" high x 29" wide. original glass replaced 2012 with UV-8 plexiglas. Tickets are presumed to be mounted with mucilage or similar adhesive as can been seen in in some detail photos. Ticket images in detail are numbered using rows, 1 to 10, starting at the top left, and in columns 1 to 7 from the left. Thus ticket 1-1 is at the top left and the last one at the bottom right would be 10-7. These numbers do not appear on the objects. All detail photos are 200 percent of original size for scale

While the location was once a fruit and vegetable store (green grocer) as stated on the awning, it was no longer used for that. (It may have been at an earlier time a cigar / tobacco shop that was part of the large United Cigar Stores Co. chain; there was once a listing at 212 Washington Street for a United Cigar Stores Co., but none has been found listed for 200.)
