Booklet: Radio Recipes of Davis Baking Powder. R.B. Davis Co., Hoboken. N.J. Copyright 1927. Booklet, 5-5/8" wide x 7-1/2" high, 20 pp. Lacking original printed cover. While copyrighted 1927 and assumed that it was issued in that year, it may have been available or issued at later dates. Sixteen pages have three recipes per page which all call for the company's signature product which was made in Hoboken. Each is credited to a listener who created them, presumably radio program listeners responding to a promotion. The recipes have their names and at least their city, but many have the actual street address. No sponsored radio shows are named. Page [20] has an advertisement for Cocomalt

The Little Book of Excellent Recipes. By the Mystery Chef. Copyright 1934 by the R.B. Davis Co., Hoboken, N.J. Softcover, 5" wide x 8" high, 104 pp. including wrappers; center four-page color insert. The many recipes are for all types of food. Recipes that can use Davis products, Baking Powder or Cocomalt (both made in Hoboken in that era), have them specified in the ingredients. Each page of recipes included promotional advertising for Davis Baking Powder as a page footer, the copy changing from page to page or across the foot of a two-page spread, e.g. "Davis Baking Powder is Accepted by the American Medical Association on Foods." Cocomalt. ("A new discovery in food value - this delicious chocolate flavor drink.") Made by Davis Baking Powder Company, Hoboken, N.J., copyright 1928. Single sheet printed two sides, 6-1/4" high x 11-7/8" wide folded to 3" wide. First panel, cover, is in a full-color art moderne design. R.B. Davis Company made this product as well as its signature product. Back panel as several recipes as well as the copyright date. A facsimile of a letter from a testing laboratory is dated 1926 and addressed to the R.B. Davis Company, 38 Jackson St., Hoboken.

Eight color lithographed cards, 3" high x 4-1/2" wide imprinted in black on reverse with advertising text. With original imprinted envelope with contemporary holographic ink list of the included recipes. Cards are not numbered, but are listed here in the order as stated by a contemporary owner on the envelope. All have different promotional text on the reverse, intitial phrase follows the baked item listed below.
