Engineering drawings of propeller blades, three, from the site of Ferguson Propeller Co., Hoboken. 1984-1985. Created by Columbian Bronze Corp., Freeport, Long Island, N.Y. Drafting vellum, pre-printed; pencil; 24" high x 36" wide. Columbian Bronze was a subsidiary of Ferguson. The formal name of the company was originally F. Ferguson & Son and in 1966, Ferguson Propeller and Reconditioning Co. The view is looking west at three lots running from 1128 to 1132 Clinton St. The building at the right with the sign is 1132 Clinton St., the listed address for the company. The company is no longer in business in Hoboken. The site shown here has been redeveloped into residential housing some of which is known as The Propeller Works.

Labeled "Workman Calibrating Propeller, Ferguson Propeller" by the photographer on the reverse. Client not named, but presumably it was the company whose primary local address was 1132 Clinton St. The large milling or grinder has a propeller, whether it is a casting or a pattern is not evident, mounted on it. It has several broad painted lines along with numerous numbers and other drawn lines.
