Appraisal of 115 - 131 Grand Street, Hoboken, New Jersey, January 18, 1957. Report cover with 36 typewritten carbon leaves ([i], 1-35) plus two 8"x 10" photos with ink annotations; map of Hoboken showing block location; detail map of the site. Appraisal of the group of buildings, Galler Beverages, Inc. (also known as Galler Seven-Up), was for the buildings and not the business. The work was performed by C.H. Ray West of The Joseph J. Garibaldi Organization, 77 River Street, Hoboken at the request of attorney William A. Kaufman, 95 River St., Hoboken. This copy belonged to a Joseph Prester who was not involved with this property or appraisal.

Soda bottle caps: lithographed metal caps for 7-Up soda bottles; Galler 7-Up (or Seven-Up) Bottling Co., Hoboken, no date, circa 1950-1960. Stamped metal, crimped edges, with cork liner, ca. 1-1/8" diameter; eight total in five distinct groups by field color, company name and position of the company name and location. All have been removed from a bottle with a deformed center crease across top from a bottle opener. All have the black and orange 7-Up logo at center top. Group 1, 2 examples: white or cream background with company name, Galler 7-Up Bottling Co., and location in orange ink on top; note type size (weight) is smaller /thinner than group 2 which is slightly heavier. Seltzer bottle: Galler's Sparkling Siphon Water. Hoboken, N.J., Contents 26 oz. No date, circa 1935-1950. Clear glass bottle, 3-5/8" diameter x 11" overall height; etched lettering within square frame with on front; metal siphon head (marked - see below) with lever; glass tube. The siphon head is stamped: Friedberg Bev. Inc 68. It is unknown if the head is original or a replacement (marriage). Bottom marks: G inside a square (probably the Glenshaw Glass Company, Glenshaw, PA ); G-7 ---- While full name of company is not stated, there was a Galler Beverages, Inc. in Hoboken. It operated under differing names, but was best known as a 7-Up soda bottler. ---- seltzer / soda / bott
