Name Hoboken Academy
Details Founded in 1860 for German speaking students. School built at northeast corner of Fifth Street and Willow Ave. School was also known as Hoboken Akademie.

Merged with Stevens Preparatory School in 1934. Combined schools first year of operation as Stevens Hoboken Academy was 1935 when the Prep School moved into the Hoboken Academy's building. Closed 1974. Building demolished 1976.

Name of successor school is sometimes seen hyphenated, Stevens-Hoboken Academy. SHA = Stevens Hoboken Academy.
