Map may be a sketch done at an earlier time and which was reprinted for inclusion as an accompanying document for a report no longer present. The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad yard is not shown, but it was in the area where the basin is drawn; it has been known as the "Long Slip."

PDF on file. The company was at Fifteenth and Jefferson Streets, Hoboken as stated on page [1] (street address as listed in a 1910 Hoboken Board of Trade publication was: J. Schwarzwalder & Sons, (Cooperage) No. 1408-26 Jefferson Street.) The company covered the full block from 14th to 15th Sts. and Jefferson to Madison Sts. By 1919 it was known as the Atlantic Tank & Barrel Corp. The name change was likely due to its German name and World War I attitudes. See notes on dating below. Un
