Name River St.
Details River Street in Hoboken runs from Hudson Place to Fourth Street where it meets Frank Sinatra Drive (which was previously called River Road). River Street is interrupted by Stevens Park and continues on the north side of the park at Fifth Street for a block and a half into the Stevens Institute of Technology campus. (The 500 and 600 blocks were also once known as River Terrace.) Again interrupted by the athletic fields of Stevens Institute of Technology, it continued on the north side of that area from Eighth to Tenth Streets as Castle Point Terrace and ended at Elysian Park (G.M. Hopkins 1923 Atlas of Hudson County shows both names used for these two blocks.)
