Caruso, Hoboken, March 21, 1955 with an invitation to a Joint Service Club luncheon as a guest of the Kiwanis Club on March 30, 1955 at the Union Club. The Kiwanis Club of Hoboken sponsored a student competition for artwork to be used on a postal cachet commemorating the Centennial of the City of Hoboken. Schultz was an entrant and was the third prize winner. Eugene Romo was the first prize winner and his work was the published envelope. Original item was found on the verso of leaf 32 of a 1949 scrapbook album of Ken Schultz of Hoboken.

The major portion of the contents is "Hoboken's Waterfront. An Essay by Sada Fretz." The inside back cover is a map with a list of 16 Hoboken locations used in the film with a thumbnail photo of the matching scene from the movie.

Created by the the Community Development Agency. Single sheet, 18-1/2" high x 24" wide, printed both sides, folded to 9-1/4" x 12". Front panel has logo of business association Full interior (reverse) has printed text with 43 numbered and described sites on the the tour (earlier version had 34). Brochure for the Union Club, 6th and Hudson Sts, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1950. Single leaf, 8-3/16" high x 10-5/8" wide, folded twice to 3-5/8" wide. Printed in color one side; black-and-white on the other side. A commercial establishment at 600 Hudson Street had three bars, various dining and meeting rooms plus a ballroom with a stage and scenery for events and social functions. It had been operated as stated since July 1, 1935 by the Sampieri family who also updated the facilities. Current management was Joseph Sampieri, General Manager and Charles J. Cerutti, Manager. The Club was built in the 19th century as the Deutscher or German Club. Images seen include: exterior of the building;

The telephone number did not include an area code (generally 1963), so the brochure is probably from from the early 1960s.
