Sepia-tone photo of the customer lobby of the Hoboken Bank for Savings, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1890. 9" high x 9-1/2" wide on 12" x 14" photographers mount. Photographer was Frank P. Jewett of Orange, N.J. The back has photographer's rubber stamp. Two copies, imaged and labeled A and B.
This view would be looking east towards the entrance and was probably taken when the building was completed.
The bank was established in 1857, but the building that this photo was taken in was built in 1890. It is at the southwest corner of Washington and Newark Sts.
