Official Girl Scout uniform, dress, with scarf and belt belonging to Catherine Ruchovansky, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1960-62. Size not indicated, but it is an adult size. Green cotton or cotton blend with textured antique-finish brass buttons.
With: official Girl Scout neck scarf, white synthetic fabric, printed in green, yellow and orange, bound edges, 8" wide x 36" long. With: official Girl Scouts belt, size 38, green synthetic material, 5/8" wide x 42" long with antiqued-finish metal buckle.
The age of the owner is not given. Donor was a Hoboken Scout and leader.
Attached with pin clasp over the left breast was a felt badge with four Girl Scout pins attached. Imaged as found and then removed, catalogued as objects catalogue 2003.067.0011.01. Also attached or enclosed in a pocket are two Certificates of Membership, Active Adult, for Catherine Ruchovansky for 1959 (expiring January 1960) and 1961 (expiring January 1962).
