Sash window from the Savoia Social Club, Hoboken. Upper wooden sash window with single clear pane. Weathered brown paint. Painted on the interior side of the glass is the name of the club in a silver or aluminum gilt opaqued with a thick white backing. 37.25"h x 33.75"w.
Reads(all caps): "Savoia [a shallow upward arc] | [small down triangle] S [small down triangle] | Club | Inc."
Found in the 2nd story of a building on the corner of 4th & Clinton(?) [note: 2002 exhibition label stated Willow Ave. and Second St.]
Wood is rotten; ca. 4" loss of glass in bottom right corner.
