Commemorative pin: Hoboken Lodge No. 74, BPOE [Benevolent Protective Order of Elks], 9th Annual Outing, Sep.[sic] 12 1909.
Three piece pin connected by metal links; cast, stamped and enameled metal; pin back plus hanging bar; overall height 4-3/8", width of elements varies from 1-5/8' to 1-3/4". Reverse of bottom medal has maker's mark: Allen A Kerr, 1008 Chestnut, Phila.
The top element, the pin clasp bar, has Hoboken Lodge with the "7" and "4' flanking a depiction of the Elks Club lodge building at 1005 Washington St. It opened in 1905.
The second bar element has the BPOE letters divided by the clock symbol.
The bottom roundel has an elk depiction with the event lettering.
