The book is "Sharp Eyes and Other Papers" by John Burroughs. Last copyright is 1886, but a series listed on the inside cover is dated as edited 1886-1901.The printed book cover is the more notable item here and is in good condition. (Miller's name written on front and she has inscribed her name and address on the first flyleaf.) Printed black ornaments on front and back; with printed title or instructions or promotional lines on each of the interior flaps. Patented in 1888.
Miller is known to have attended high school at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Hoboken, 1907 to at least 1909. Her sister, Florence Miller, graduated in 1909.
