Postcard: Jagels & Bellis, Coal Trestle, Hoboken, N.J. Postmarked Sept. 28, 1911. 3-1/2" high x 5-7/16" wide. Undivided back.
No publisher; may have been issued by the company which was a coal and ice dealer.
View is probably looking north with the buildings at the left on near approximately the northwest corner of 15th and Bloomfield Streets. The ferry and ships seen are in Plot E Cove (Weehawken Cove) as indicated on Plate 8 of Hopkins 1909 Plat Book. volume II.
Horses, which are apparently for the delivery wagons, are seen at a feeding or water trough; man on horseback is to the right beyond them.
Note: the card is undivided so it was probably produced before 1907 and thus the photo used is from that time or earlier.
