Oval inkstamp in black inside glove: Neumann Tackified Glove. U.S. Patent 4,598,429 (this was issued July 8, 1986 and assigned to R. Neumann.)
Although not so marked, this glove was produced by a subsidiary, Neumann Tackified Glove Company, which was based at R. Neumann in Hoboken. Sold in 1995 and moved to Tennessee. See notes.
Type of glove is not stated on item; alternately it may be a golf glove.
Men's medium size, left hand only. Navy blue fabric with white and light gray leather; aqua leather edging. Velcro closure with Neumann emblem embroidered on flap. Encased pearl stud snap. Price ticket on hang tag: Kmart [$] 11.97.

Adams USA merges with Neumann Glove
Adams USA, Inc., in Cookeville, Tenn., has acquired selected assets of Neumann Tackified Glove Company, the founder of tackified football gloves and a supplier of baseball batting and fielding gloves.
Adams is a supplier of baseball and football injury protection equipment as well as Bucks Belts and Bolco Bases. Neumann's warehousing and distribution facilities have been moved to Cookeville. Customers can now combine Adams, Neumann Gloves, Bucks Belts, and Bolco Bases in single orders to be shipped together.
