This is no. 4 of a fifteen card series (note: numbers 2 to 7 read as "of ten postcards"; series was expanded and cards numbers 8 to 15 are marked as "of fifteen postcards") issued during the exhibition, Greetings From Hoboken: A Postcard History and other related museum children's education activities and upper gallery exhibits related to school art programs.
Image is a photographic view looking northeast from circa Fourth Street and Frank Sinatra Drive; it frames the Empire State Building at dusk through pilings in place for Pier C park.
The format of the back is "Greetings from Hoboken" with a reproduction of a stamp with a cancellation mark with the exhibition name and dates (which records July 3, but the exhibit actually was on view until August 3.) This design was by McKevin Shaughnessy with this date appears on cards numbered 2 to 6; no. 7 is a variant. Postcards 8 to 15 in the series are dated August 3 to Oct. 12, 2008 for an upper gallery exhibition of artwork related to kids postcard art.
