Founded in 1937 as the Italian Actors Union, a branch of the Associated Actors & Artistes of America, AFL-CIO affiliated. Honored for Outstanding Achievement as and Italian American playwright. Director and screenplay writer who has often created work which has provoked heart and soul while portraying Italian American characters as people with a deep sense of humanity and dignity and with strong family and social values.
