Description Painted tin box with hand-lettered titling on front in white paint: Henry Byrnes | General Station Master | D.L. & W. R.R. [Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad] | Hoboken, N.J., no date, ca. 1900 - 1920. Box is 8"w x 6"d x 8"h plus fixed riveted handle. Brownish-maroon paint, crackled. The interior has three removable unpainted metal trays divided in 12 equal sections. Trays are very tight fitting. Function of the box or trays is unknown.
